Cartoonatic is just that; an app for the cartoonatics out there! Available on the iPhone for free, this app allows you to have a little more fun with the video feature available on your device. With 10 different cartoon landscapes to choose from, making your own custom cartoon themed video becomes a seamless process. The app is one of the most user friendly I have experienced in quite some time and truly requires no direction.

Upon entering the app, you are brought to the main screen where the current view from your camera is displayed. There, by clicking on the screen you are able to choose between the 10 different cartoon landscapes available. Once you have selected your fantasy land of choice, tap the record button on the bottom center of the screen to start making your movie. Tap again when your video is complete.

One of my typical favorite features about this app is its sharing functionality. You are able to share customized videos on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and via email. The user can also save their video to the camera album of their choice on the device. Keep in mind this app is not an editing tool so any pre-existing videos you may have stored on your phone can not become cartoon videos; you must start fresh.

A final few unique key features involve music and frame size. With the tap of a button, the user is able to change the frame size from 320X400 to 360X480 depending upon preference. Music can easily be added to your cartoon video by selecting pre-loaded tracks, or choosing directly from the iTunes library stored on your iPhone in app. You can of course just keep the sound recordings from your video. This is greatly fun app that adds a new twist on video recording!
