We’ve all been in the situation where we were super duper hungry and despite our feverish efforts, either cannot find the perfect place to satisfy our appetite, have no idea where any good places to eat are, or don’t trust walking into any random eating establishment. Thankfully, there is an app for that. Find Me Noms promises to put you in front of the food you like by using the tricks it has up its sleeves.

Find Me Noms requires a quick registration that does not require a social media login (great!). Once that is taken care of, you get get to searching for your favorite places right away. A map gets oriented to where you are in the world. You can search for eateries in your neighborhood. If you find a place that you like, or are aware of any eateries in your vicinities, simply pin it and it then appears in your list! Once an item is pinned, general information about the location appears. You can pin as many locations as you like and even share them. Your friends can know about the places you like to eat. Furthermore, you can even search for places by tags. When you pin a location, you include up to three tags per pin. The developers have thoughtfully included as many tags as there are categories of food. As each tag is indexed, the tags you’re typing will appear as you type. Everything from Italian, Deli, Indian and Sandwich is included. Never feel like you have a limited selection when searching for the type of dining you want.

Verdict

Find Me Noms is pretty straight forward. The map is what you would expect out of any map app. Pinch and Zoom and search for pins. Pinning is easy, just press the location in question. Tagging is even easier, and the most important part, sharing and adding info about locations is a breeze. If you’re looking for the perfect place to eat, or wish to let the world know about your thoughts about a particular eatery, Find Me Noms will let you do that with ease.
