Pros:

  • Can't pick up where you left off

Remember the game Temple Run? People couldn't get enough of it when it was released five years ago. In involved running for your life after stealing a precious item while dodging monkeys, jumping over gaps and switching directions on sharp turns. Okay, take away the monkeys, the jungle, the coins and fancy sound effects. Add cute colors, minimalist backgrounds and 1000+ levels and you have Tap Tap Dash.

In Tap Tap Dash, you are charged with collecting rubies and following the path. Sharp turns are a plenty, along with unexpected gaps and pathways of all lengths. To switch directions you simply tap the screen. To jump over gaps you do the same. As expected, earlier levels are fairly easy with sharper turns and shorter pathways with multiple gaps appearing in subsequent levels.

One of the things I liked about Tap Tap Dash was in additon to being able to start from the level where you left off, you're also reminded at which positioned you failed. This is useful to anticipate any repeat blunders which may cost you victory.

As you traverse through the levels, you unlock new characters. The cuteness factor in the game is enough to satisfy even the most hardened individual.

The challenge of the game is the timing of your turns and jumps. You'll be tempted to tap the screen to soon anticipating a sharp turn which will cause you to fall off the path. Expect a lot of it.
