There are dozens of apps available that allow you to remotely access your PC from another PC, but as of now the stakes have been raised much higher. Tonido is an app that allows you to access any file from on your desktop from your Windows Phone device anywhere in the world. All that is needed is a little bit of following directions

 

Phone Home

 

Tonido installation is as simple as downloading the app. Once installed, you're given a quick tutorial and instructions on how to set Tonido up on your home computer or laptop. As is typical with any Windows Installation, you have accept the EULA and go through a few prompts. After it's installed, the magic begins. Simply link your PC to your Tonido account and fire up the mobile version on your Windows device. You'll be amazed to see that venerable C: drive and any other drive connected to your Windows PC.
