The newest issue and app was released last Tuesday and is available for both iOS and Android. The cost is a mere $6.99. The newest issue features model Kate Upton on the cover.
The app though is even better. The iPad version features more than 150 of the most beautiful photos and over 2 hours of video. Also included is a 360 degree view of body painted athletes, complete with an interactive music section and a swimsuit style guide on the Sports Illustrated website.
From Magazine To App
The iPad magazine tablet app displays the highest levels of photography through scrolling-panoramic sequences. The new music section available on SI.com and the iPad offers an entirely new perspective of the SI swimsuit issue.

The video also offers a Q&A session with each featured model, behind the scenes footage of the body-painting shoot, on location videos from some of not only the most beautiful women, but some of the most beautiful places in the world as well.
The 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit App Has Loads Of Content
The collection of songs is entitled “Beauties and the Beats”, from bands like Black Lips, Delta Spirit and White Denim. For those of you who have already purchased the printed issue, you can also download the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Viewer for free, to enhance the beauty of the magazine with additional video clips. This is not your Daddy’s SI Swimsuit Issue.
