This coming Super Bowl February 5, 2012, live from Indianapolis, you will be able to stream online for the very first time. Not only will you be able to stream it, but if you have the official NFL app for either the iOS or Android, you will be able to watch it that way as well.

There is no other televised live event in the country that generates as much popularity or commands as many viewing numbers as the Super Bowl. The last Super Bowl dominated the ratings with over 100 million viewers. In a major announcement just released from NBC and the NFL, they have indicated that this will be the first Super Bowl that will be able to be streamed online and to mobile devices. I know that there are many football fans out there like me who are truly going to love this idea.

Not only will you be able to watch the Super Bowl, but NBC has also indicated that you will have the ability to stream playoff games and the Pro Bowl as well. As Hank Williams Jr. would say, “Are you ready for some football?” What do you think?
